About TBA
Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Takaful IBB Bhd) is the result of the merger between Takaful IBB Bhd and Takaful BIBD Sdn Bhd. Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK) are subsidiary companies of Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (STBD). Prior to the merger, Takaful IBB Bhd (established in 1993) and Takaful BIBD Sdn Bhd (established in 2001) were composite companies transacting in both General and Family Takaful. TBA will focus on General Takaful business while TBK will focus on Family Takaful business.
In accordance with the principles of Islamic and Shariaa, Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd has served the Islamic insurance needs of individuals and corporate clients since 1993.
